Autumn Wellness Wednesdays Yoga Series: Sept 4 – Dec 18 (16 weeks) with Tamara McCormick
Join me on Wednesday evenings (7:30pm-9:00pm) this autumn for a 90-minute gentle yoga practice at Maki House.
Autumn is the season of transformation, nourishment and letting go of what no longer serves us. Embrace the opportunity to immerse yourself in a beautiful journey of movement and mindfulness. This series offers a harmonious blend of yoga, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a curious beginner, this all-levels practice is the perfect opportunity to indulge in a grounding restorative practice to nourish your body, mind, and soul. This 15-week series will leave you feeling revitalized, balanced, deeply relaxed, and grateful.
Cost: $250.00 for 16-week series. Pre-registration required. This series is non-refundable, however, if you need to miss a week or two, you will be able to gift your spot to a friend. $20.00 per class drop-in fee, space permitting. I will hold a few drop-in spaces for those who cannot commit to the full series. Please pre-register for drop-ins.

Gentle Yoga with balance with Julie Tierney
This yoga class is designed for people wanting to safely improve their balance while increasing strength, flexibility and mobility. Postures are done both seated and lying down on the mat as well as standing using the chair as a prop. Bring a yoga mat and any props needed for your comfort such as a strap, bolster or blanket.
Mondays 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Happy Hips Fitness and Dance with Julie Tierney
Have fun while increasing strength, fluidity and flexibility in your hips. Starting with some fun dance moves to warm up the hips, then coming to our mats for strengthening and stretching all to the backdrop of your favourite songs of oldies songs. Bring a yoga mat and a stretch band.

Chair Yoga and Balance with Julie Tierney
Improve your balance, strength, flexibility and mobility in a safe and accessible way. Chair yoga makes the benefits of yoga accessible to those who are not comfortable getting up and down from the floor. Postures are done both seated and standing using the chair as a prop. A portion of each class is dedicated to help you improve your balance. Bring a yoga mat to place under your chair to hold it in place.
