    Gentle Yoga 

    Improve your balance, strength, flexibility and mobility with postures done laying on the mat, seated and standing.  This class is Ideal for people who are new(er) to yoga or who are looking for a less vigorous practice.

    Mondays March 3 to April 28 (No class March 24)

    Yin Yoga

    Yin Yoga involves longer held poses done on the mat that target the connective tissue in the body enabling the release of physical and emotional tension.  This is an ideal practice to promote mindfulness and stress release and increase one’s joint mobility.

    Chair Yoga and Balance

    Chair yoga makes the benefits of yoga accessible to those who are not comfortable getting up and down from the floor. Postures are done both seated and standing using the chair as a prop. A portion of each class will consist of exercises to help you improve your balance.

    Specialty Class

    Spring Equinox Hot Stone Restorative Yoga with Crystal Bowls with Christina Gubbels and Julie Tierney

    Treat yourself to this wonderfully relaxing experience.  While in Restorative Yoga Postures, Hot Basalt Stones will be gently placed on various parts of the body, including, hands, feet, stomach, spine and chest to further reduce tension at the same time that you are being bathed in the healing sounds of the singing bowls and other sound healing instruments.  Pure Bliss!

    Christina’s Hot Stone Restorative Yoga Workshops usually sell out well in advance.  There are currently only 4 spots left.  Be sure to register early to avoid disappointment.
