As we settle into the fall season, I wanted to share a few updates on what’s been happening around the neighbourhood and within the CBLCA.
Our Flood Subcommittee continues its work behind the scenes, meeting regularly and pushing for clearer communication and long‑term solutions from the City and other levels of government. It’s steady, detailed work, but we want residents to know that we’re still advocating strongly on behalf of Crystal Beach–Lakeview and keeping the conversation moving.
We’re also looking ahead to our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, November 22nd. Please save the date. We’ll share the time and agenda soon, but we hope you’ll join us — it’s a great chance to connect, hear updates, and help shape our priorities for the year ahead.
And speaking of connecting, our Crystal Beach Lakeview Block Party is coming up soon. We hope you’ll be able to stop by, enjoy the day, and spend time with neighbours and friends. These moments of community are part of what makes our neighbourhood special.
As always, we rely on volunteers to keep things running. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for help with TIP, Parks & Rec, Communications, and our Treasurer and VP/President roles. Even a small amount of time makes a big difference.
