We have 2 exciting presentations this month, everyone is welcome. Maki House, Tuesdays at 1:30.

Mar 5 Ottawa Carleton Wildlife Centre Our speaker will report on the success of the rehabilitation of Stillwater creek. Extensive work was done a few years ago on the west side of Moodie Drive and there has been time for plants and animals to reestablish themselves. She’ll also talk about our local wildlife and how to live with their presence.

Mar 26 Weird and Wacky stories about Ottawa A talk by James Powell from the Ottawa Historical Society. Things you didn’t know about Ottawa’s history!

  The presentation by the woman from the Wildlife Centre was excellent – informative and entertaining. Thanks for arranging it. Does she do a presentation on birds in this are?

    Thanks for your nice comments. The Ottawa field naturalists are more likely to do birds. We’ll keep this in mind for next year’s program.
