      1. The ability to play pickleball at the tennis courts on Corkstown would be a beautiful thing. Those courts are very seldomly used to full capacity. Allowing the growing number of residents in our community an opportunity to play would be a great benefit for our health and well being and to support the community.
      2. A much improved bicycle crossing at the ‘hideous’ intersection on Moodie & Corkstown would be extremely beneficial. That crossway as it stands is definitely not safe. Either all cyclists need to cross on one side of the road or a proper bridge needs to be built across the intersection. A bridge would make good use of that enormous pile of fill that continues to grow at the LRT construction site on Corkstown.

Hello, Tudy. Thank you for your response.
      1. CBLCA doesn’t manage the tennis courts. I think you should contact the Crystal Beach Tennis Club at https://crystalbeachtennis.org/
      2. Yes. Definitely hideous. And dangerous. We’ve been in touch with Councillor Kavanagh to see what can be done. The answer probably won’t be anything as grand as a bridge. We have asked for City help in coming up with solutions that might be feasible, and we proposed a flashing red light at the crossing. We also want to review the final plans for Moodie Station generally. At least the Watts Creek detour should be over in early June. Note that Councillor Kavanagh will be holding an LRT2 meeting.
