CBLCA Submission on the Lincoln Fields Secondary Plan

In response to resident request, the Crystal Beach Lakeview Community Association sent a submission to Planning and Housing Committee about the Lincoln Fields Secondary Plan. The specific concern with the plan is that the existing ramps joining Carling Avenue and the Kichi Zībī Mīkan will be replaced by a signalized intersection.

We don’t know when the signalized intersection will happen. We hear, “The bridge needs to be replaced,” or “It will take 25 years for the Lincoln Fields development to occur,” or “The BRT on Carling will take forever,” or “The BRT on Carling will never happen.” Who knows?

The CBLCA submission is here. Read more.
