Hi Everyone,
I hope this newsletter finds you well. I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out this past Sunday to our Winter Carnival. It was truly wonderful to see so many members of our community come together to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and each other’s company.
A special thank you goes out to our generous sponsors, Patty Brown and Tim Hewson, for sponsoring the Horse Drawn sleigh ride and Maki Rink (respectively). Your support made these delightful activities possible and added so much joy to our event.
We also want to give special thanks to our Parks and Rec Chair, John Illowski, as well as our amazing volunteers who helped organize and ensure everything was set up and ready to go. To all the Scouts, and Guides for running the games, canteen, and bake sale in support of Days for Girls. Your hard work and dedication were key to the success of the day.
One of the highlights of the day (for me) was gathering around the fire, meeting new members of the community, seeing familiar faces, roasting marshmallows with the kiddos, and watching everyone making/enjoying their s’mores. It was a pleasure to chat with many of you and share in the warmth and camaraderie that makes our community so special.
Thank you once again for making the Winter Carnival a memorable event. We look forward to many more gatherings and celebrations with you all.
