
When:
- Mondays on January 9, 16, 23, and March 6, 13, 20, 27 from 9:30am to 10:30am. (No classes through February,)
- Wednesdays on January 11, 18, 25, and March 8, 15, 22, 29 from 11:30am to 12:30pm (No classes through February.)
Cost: $70 for each seven-week session, or $15 per class as a drop-in.
Class Style: These are gently paced hatha flow classes that incorporate breathing, postures and movement. Students will be led through a series of standing, seated and lying down poses that are designed to promote body awareness, and build stability, flexibility and strength. The combined focus on mindfulness, breathing and slow physical movements will leave students feeling energized, calm and relaxed. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat.
Instructor: Joan Smith has been practicing yoga since 2007. She holds a 200-hour hatha yoga teacher training certificate. Joan understands that her role is to create a physically, emotionally and spiritually safe environment, supporting and guiding each student’s journey through their practice, allowing them to explore their place within each pose.
