Bay Ward Councillor Theresa Kavanagh is encouraging us to take part in this show of support for essential workers. On Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30 pm (while respecting physical distancing and your places of self-isolation) go out on your front lawns, porches, or open windows and make some supportive raucous to show your gratitude for our healthcare workers on the front lines of fighting COVID-19, as well as all the essential workers who are putting themselves at risk so we have access to food, transportation, and other essential services. This can be done by cheering, clapping, ringing bells or using other fun noise makers.
Bring your self, your voice, your hands, an instrument and let’s unite in gratitude and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!
I think this a great idea, much better than what the MPP and councillor had planned for Bells Corners!
Lisa MacLeod and the Bells Corners Business Improvement Area organized Car & Truck Parade gatherings but Doug Ford nixed the idea.
As usual Coun. Kavanagh’s idea is much better, no?
