Public Meeting on Former Villa Lucia Property Sept. 13

Councillor Theresa Kavanagh will hold a second public meeting on the 3430 Carling Avenue development (where Villa Lucia is now located) on Sept. 13 at 6:30 pm. For more information, refer to the Bay Ward newsletter (Issue #34) article.

  1. It isn’t “formally” Villa Lucia. It is STILL open and operating. It had been closed due to the Government mandated closure of restaurants several times over the last 18 months but it has been open and operating for the past 7 weeks and will continue to do so as it has for the past 38 years. Just thought I would let you know.

  2. I have sent comments to the city planner. I hope they reconsider the height and mass of the proposed design to be more in keeping with what is around here, while respecting the privacy of the people in this neighbourhood.
