Yoga has been offered for several years at Maki House, and new participants are always encouraged to join. Classes are classical hatha yoga, focusing on breathing, warm up exercises, steady postures and relaxation. While practitioners use the body, much of the focus and benefits are with the mind, learning techniques to manage stress, focus the mind and find calmness.
