OV Wild Bird Care Centre: Still Flapping at 40

The Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre is celebrating 40 years of saving wild birds. It all started in 1981 when Kathy Nihei nursed an injured hummingbird back to health and released it back into the wild. Today it is the only rehabilitation centre exclusively dedicated to wild birds, funded primarily through public donations.

This is a reminder of a great local resource that can use our help and that we can rely on if we come across injured birds.
