Aero Drive
Councillor Kavanagh received information from City Hall staff regarding Aero Drive and the
concern from residents regarding drivers speeding.
In assessing the street, City Hall staff found that Aero Drive–from Inkster to Fairfield–resulted
in speeds of upwards of 49 km per hour for the 85th percentile. As a result, they will now be
examining further Temporary Traffic Calming measures. The roadway also qualifies for the
Neighbourhood Traffic Calming program, so Aero Drive will be added to that list for more
permanent measures to lower speeds.
Do you Want to Propose Other Streets?
Councillor Kavanagh will be meeting with City Hall staff to discuss traffic calming across the
ward in the coming month, and at this time, she will be happy to hear what suggestions staff
will propose for Aero Drive. If there are other streets that are of concern, please feel free to
reach out and let her and her office know. She says, “I would be happy to ensure these are
flagged with staff.
