October 8, 1:30 p.m. – Who Killed D’Arcy McGee?
Canada’s Greatest Mystery! Local history buff Ian Ashe will tell us what he has found out about the story of McGee, a strong supporter of Confederation, and the mystery of his assassination on the streets of Ottawa in 1868.

October 15, 1:30 p.m. – Games in the Afternoon
Learn to play Euchre, or refresh your skills. Also Scrabble, Sequence, and Cribbage. Not a game player? Come for coffee and conversation.

October 22, 1:30 p.m. – Special Guest Theresa Kavanagh
Our Bay Ward councillor will visit to talk about to talk about the changes that are happening in our community, and what they mean for older residents. Everyone welcome.

October 29, 1:00 p.m. – Halloween Potluck Lunch
Cold meat, cheese and buns provided. You can bring an appetizer, a small salad, vegetables or dessert. Wear funny hats, costumes, masks if you wish!
