We hope to see as many community members out as possible at the Nepean Sailing Club on the evening of Monday, November 18.
From 7 to 7:30 pm we will vote in our new CBLCA executive team, hear from our outgoing President, Monica Patten, as well as Councillor Theresa Kavanagh.
Then, from 7:30 until 9 p.m., we have something very special planned: an interactive discussion about how we want to see our community evolve. What are some of the challenges and opportunities we face going forward? What kind of positive change do we want to see in the future?
We have invited a community engagement facilitator from Synapcity to lead us in this exercise. Synapcity provides knowledge and tools to help people understand our city and gain confidence to make positive change. You can read more about Synapcity’s work and approach here.
This is an opportunity to collaborate in an inclusive and respectful way, sharing our diverse viewpoints and experiences. The goal is to co-create our community of the future, preserving and strengthening what makes Crystal Beach Lakeview great.
Come meet your neighbours and enjoy an empowering evening of conversation. All are welcome! All you need to bring is an open mind and a willingness to listen and share.
The bar will be open and snacks will be served.
