The Club has decided to continue meeting online on Zoom for the fall season as the distancing requirements and other precautions at Maki House make it difficult to be as sociable as we like.
Everyone is welcome to join our meetings whenever you wish. Just send a note to Norm Pound at email@example.com to receive the joining link. He can also assist if you need help with Zoom. To learn more, call Judy at (613) 829-1083 or Norm at (613) 828-0548.
Meetings happen Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.
Oct. 5: Start of the Fall season. Enjoy some fun and games and share your summer experiences.

Oct. 19: “Britannia Beach in its Heyday—Another Peak into Ottawa’s Past”, presented by Emma Kent. Britannia beach in Ottawa’s west end is now fully encircled by the city that once considered it a remote cottage community. Connected to Ottawa through its streetcar system, the beach was once home to a wooden pier, amusement park, and much more. This workshop will explore what summers used to look like at Britannia Beach.
Oct. 26: A festive Halloween online party. Wear a mask or funny hat and nibble on your Halloween treats while we share jokes and games. Do you remember how you celebrated as a child?
