About CBLCA’s President
Nic Martinez
My family and I moved to the neighbourhood in the fall of 2017 looking for a little more space as our kids were getting bigger and I’ve always been a fan of living along our city’s best geographic feature (in my opinion) the Ottawa River.
I studied political science and law at Carleton University and work in the federal government as a project manager in areas like IT systems development, economic modeling, survey development and the use of earth observation in official statistics. I’m passionate about public service and, needless to say, I’m a big believer in the role that community organizations like the CBLCA play in civic life and in shaping the type of community we live in.
