2018 Winter Carnival Recap

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the Winter Carnival on January 28th! The weather was great, the ice held up for skating lessons despite the unseasonably warm temperatures, and many people enjoyed the outdoor games and rinks (thanks to Grant Millar and his rink crew!)

A special thanks to Hollybrooke Farms for providing the sleigh ride, Derek McKinley of Sing Song Party Time for the lively kids’ show, and as always, the Nepean 116th Scouts who ran the canteen and coordinated all the games. Jim Watson, Bob Chiarelli, and Mark Taylor each stopped by, as did our community police officer.

And thanks again to our event sponsors, Leanne O’Donnell (Re/Max Realty), Classic Tile & Stone, Canadian Tire Bells Corners, and Ralph & Son’s Diner.

Stay tuned for more upcoming CBLCA and community activities! And as always, if you have a great idea for a community activity or event, contact Parks and Rec Committee Chair:  Susie Crowe.
